IMPORTANT: COURSE TERMS & CONDITIONS
Online Course Delivery
- All courses are conducted 100% online via video conferencing platforms (Google Meet, Zoom, or Discord)
- Stable internet connection and a device with camera/microphone are required
- Technical requirements and platform links will be shared upon enrollment
Payment Policy
- All payments are non-refundable once enrollment is confirmed
- Payment must be completed in full before course start date (installment plans available upon request)
- No refunds will be issued for missed sessions or early withdrawal
Attendance & Schedule
- If you miss a class, there are no retakes or makeup sessions
- Session recordings will be provided for review, but live attendance is strongly encouraged
- The course schedule will be shared one week in advance of the course start date
- Class timings are set by the instructor and cannot be modified based on individual student preferences
- Exception: Professional and Master Class tier students may request limited schedule adjustments subject to instructor availability
Course Duration & Commitment
- Once the course begins, the schedule and pace cannot be changed
- Students are expected to complete assignments between sessions
- Consistent attendance and participation are essential for successful course completion
Course Access
- Access to course materials (recordings, resources, community forum) expires at the end of the course duration plus 30 days
- Certificate of completion will only be issued to students who complete all required assignments and attend minimum 80% of live sessions
Communication & Support
- Course-related communication will be via email, WhatsApp group, or Discord server
- Response time for queries: 48-72 hours (24 hours for Professional/Master Class tiers)
- Instructor availability outside scheduled sessions is limited and cannot be guaranteed except as specified in tier benefits
Technical Issues
- In case of instructor technical difficulties, the session will be rescheduled within the same week
- Student technical issues do not qualify for refunds or session makeup
- Students are responsible for ensuring their equipment and internet connection meet course requirements
Course Cancellation & Rescheduling by Instructor
- Instructor reserves the right to cancel a batch if minimum enrollment is not met – full refund will be provided in this case only
- Instructor may cancel the course up to 3 days before the start date due to unforeseen circumstances – full refund will be provided
- Courses may be rescheduled due to emergencies or unforeseen circumstances with minimum 48 hours notice when possible
- Students will be notified immediately and given the option to join the rescheduled batch or receive a full refund
Content & Intellectual Property
- All course content, recordings, and materials are for personal use only
- Sharing, distributing, or reselling course content is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate dismissal without refund
- Recording live sessions without permission is not allowed
- Course materials remain the intellectual property of the instructor
Behavior & Code of Conduct
- Respectful and professional behavior is expected at all times
- Harassment, inappropriate language, or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the course without refund
- Students are expected to engage constructively and support fellow classmates
- Plagiarism or submitting others’ work as your own will result in immediate dismissal
Course Content Changes
- The instructor reserves the right to modify course content, structure, or materials to improve learning outcomes
- Core curriculum topics will remain consistent with the advertised course description
- Any significant changes will be communicated to enrolled students in advance
Enrollment Confirmation
- Enrollment is confirmed only after full payment is received
- Limited seats per batch – enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis
- Course start dates are subject to minimum enrollment requirements
Prerequisites & Eligibility
- Crash Course: None – open to everyone
- Foundation: None – beginners welcome
- Professional: Completion of Foundation tier or equivalent filmmaking experience required
- Master Class: Completion of Professional tier or demonstrated intermediate/advanced skills (portfolio review may be required)
- Age Requirement: Students must be 16+ years old. Students under 18 require parental/guardian consent
Equipment Requirements
- Students are responsible for their own filming equipment (camera, smartphone, or any recording device)
- Equipment recommendations will be provided based on budget levels, but purchases are not included in course fees
- Basic editing software access required – free options (DaVinci Resolve, etc.) will be recommended
- Instructor is not responsible for equipment purchases or technical support for student-owned gear
Job Opportunities & Industry Connections
- Job opportunities and industry introductions (Master Class tier) are provided on an availability basis and cannot be guaranteed
- These are networking opportunities and professional guidance, not job placement guarantees
- Instructor will make reasonable efforts to connect qualified students with opportunities but makes no promises of employment
Certificate Eligibility
- Certificate of completion will be issued only upon:
- Completion of all required assignments with passing quality
- Minimum 80% attendance in live sessions
- Submission of final project (where applicable) by the deadline
- Full payment of course fees
- Certificates are digital (PDF format) and will be emailed within 2 weeks of course completion
- Physical certificates available upon request for an additional fee
Privacy & Data Protection
- Student personal information (name, email, phone number) will be kept confidential
- Information will not be shared with third parties without consent
- Student work may be showcased (with permission) for promotional or educational purposes
- By enrolling, students consent to being part of group photos/screenshots for marketing (faces can be blurred upon request)
Limitation of Liability
- The instructor provides educational content and guidance but is not responsible for students’ individual results or career outcomes
- Students use equipment and software at their own risk
- The instructor is not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries that may occur during or as a result of the course activities
Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes or concerns should first be addressed directly with the instructor via email
- Good faith efforts will be made to resolve issues amicably
- Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Pakistani law
